Dear family, friends and colleagues,
It is with great excitement to announce I will be donating my hair to the Australia Alopecia Areata Foundation (AAAF). While a haircut may seem like a simple gesture, some children are not able to grow hair of their own, especially if they are living with a condition like alopecia areata, it has no cure. AAAF will send all hair donations to wig makers who specialize in making hair pieces for medical purposes.
I have given myself until early August for the big cut and hope you will follow my journey. I can't wait to share with you the transformation, so stay tuned.

(AAAF), is established to be the national Australia body supporting research to find a cure or acceptable treatment for all forms of Alopecia Areata, support those with the disease and their families, and inform the public about all forms of Alopecia Areata.
Our Service philosophy is to give each person the best chance of managing their alopecia journey positively, the whole family and each individual needs to be supported to manage their unique experience. By reducing the financial and emotional stress and enabling children, young people, adults and their support networks to develop their strengths and skills, AAAF assists the whole family to achieve that positive journey.
